Ari Eisinger is one of the world's premiere performers and interpreters of blues from the twenties and thirties. Beginning as a teen in NYC, where he studied with Dave Van Ronk and others, Ari developed a remarkable ability to interpret the music of that era in his own creative way without losing the traditional blues sound. He has toured extensively in the U.S., Europe, and Japan, released two CDs, and made DVDs on the styles of Blind Lemon Jefferson and Blind Boy Fuller.

"The authenticity with which he recreates some of the best and instrumentally complex country blues is downright spooky...There is no one I’ve encountered who plays Blind Blake with such authority and who remains so faithful to the spirit and style of the original music...The skill and musicality involved in this feat goes far beyond mimicry or anachronism -- it’s more like he’s channeling the best blues guitarists of the era and creating an exquisite, self-contained musical environment."

Rolly Brown has, over the years, been a Nat'l Fingerpicking Champion, a Philadelphia Music Award Nominee, a sideman, soloist, student, and teacher. After meeting and learning from the Rev. Gary Davis in the late sixties, he immersed himself in the styles of Davis and Blind Blake, later dedicating himself to becoming a proficient jazz player. Recent years have reflected this marriage of jazz and blues in his music. In the past decade, he has attained prominence teaching and performing at guitar camps in the eastern U.S.
Rolly has released five CD's on his Aussie Dog label, and has also posted a number of acclaimed instructional films on Youtube, demonstrating his clear, down-to-earth approach to teaching guitar.

"Rolly ain't ersatz anything. He's the real deal, the gen-you-wine article, the guitar picker's guitar picker...in a tux or a tee-shirt, Rolly Brown is the man for all seasons."
-Bennett Hammond, WUMB Summer Acoustic Music Week.
