William C.C. Chen Workshop |
Directions to Bucks County Tai Chi
Workshop
The workshop will be held at the Pt. Pleasant Fire Co. on the Pt.
Pleasant Pike, in (you guessed it) Pt. Pleasant PA!!
From Philadelphia and points south:
Take Rt. 611 north. Ten miles above the turnpike, just after a
“7-11” on your left, follow the limited access Doylestown by-pass
(sign says “611‘Easton”). As the by-pass re-unites with 611, take a
right at the first light, Silo Hill Rd. (Gulf station on corner.)
Proceed about 1/4 mile to the Stop sign, then turn left onto Pt.
Pleasant Pike. Then drive about 4 miles till you see the big new Pt.
Pleasant Fire House on your right. It’s on the far right corner of
Wismer Rd.
From New York:
Take Rt. 78 West to Exit 15. Turn left onto rt. 513 at the end of
the ramp. Follow 513, remembering to read signs and bear right in
Pittstown, for 10 miles, into Frenchtown NJ, where you'll cross the
bridge over the Delaware River into PA. Turn left onto the River
Rd., Rt. 32. Follow it for about 8 miles till you get into Pt.
Pleasant, where you’ll pass the Pt. Pleasant Food Shop on your
right. The road will turn right and go over a small bridge. Just
over the bridge, rt. 32 will turn left, but you will go straight
uphill on the Pt. Pleasant Pike for just under 2 miles. The
firehouse will be on your left, at the corner of Wismer Rd.
From Points West:
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 27 (Rt. 611), then
follow the directions in “from pts south” above.
From Points North:
Take the Northeast Extension of the PA Turnpike south to Exit 32
(Quakertown). Turn left onto Rt. 663 at the bottom of the ramp. Rt.
663 will turn into Rt. 313 when you cross Rt. 309. Stay on Rt. 313
towards Doylestown for several miles (maybe fifteen). Turn left at
Ferry Road, a couple miles past Dublin PA. Ferry Rd. will wind
around a bit (watch for the two serious hairpins) and become Pt .
Pleasant Pike, after which you can follow the directions in “from
pts south” above.
